Marwaas Islamic Center is a non-profit organization incorporated in the state of Texas to engage exclusively in religious, educational and community activities in conformity with the Quran and the Sunnah (Traditions) of the Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him).

To develop and maintain a vibrant, inclusive, and charitable Islamic organization that provides a comprehensive range of religious and social programs to residents of Houston and the surrounding regions.

“One person can change the world, but it takes an entire community to raise that person.”
We envision the future leaders of the Muslim ummah – both men and women – to be brought up and fostered in Marwaas Islamic Center. We take care of their needs from birth to adulthood, by giving them and their parents the tools and support they need to thrive as great Muslims.

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, like a sparrow’s nest for Allah or even smaller, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.”
Allah says in his Noble Quran: “And whatsoever you spend of anything (in the cause of Allaah), He will replace it. He is the Best of those who grants sustenance.” [Surah Saba 34:39]
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah’s Messenger (SAW) as saying: “Charity does not in any way decrease the wealth and the servant who forgives, Allah adds to his respect; and the one who shows humility, Allah elevates him in the estimation (of the people).” (Muslim)
